Frequently Asked Questions
You have questions, we have answers!
What are Ombré Powder Brows?
Ombré powder brows is a semi-permanent, natural looking tattoo that can last 1-3 years. Pigment is inserted using a small machine to create soft, powder filled brows similar to the look of makeup. For this technique the tail of your brow is darker and fades lighter towards the front of the brow.

How is microshading different from microblading?
Microshading is less invasive than microblading and keeps your skin's integrity since the pigment is distributed on the top layer of the skin rather than cutting into the skin with a blade. Microshading can be done on all skin types, but microblading cannot.
Does microshading hurt?
NO! A topical numbing cream is used throughout the procedure to make you as comfortable as possible. Most clients feel no pain while others report only a mild discomfort.

Will I lose my natural brows?
Absolutely NOT! Please do not tweeze, thread, wax or modify your brows in any way for as long as possible prior to your service. The more hair you have, the more natural your results.

Am I eligible for a brow procedure?
You are ineligible for brow services if any of the below apply to you:
-
Pregnant/Breastfeeding
-
Diabetic
-
Glaucoma
-
Skin Diseases
-
Keloid Disorder
-
HIV/AIDS
-

You must also be at least 18 years of age.

How long is the healing process?
Healing takes about 14 days. Immediately after your service the eyebrow area will be slightly red and color will appear dark, but there is no down time! In the following days you can expect the area to get darker as it scabs. Yes, your brows will scab as they heal themselves. Please allow the scab to fall off to avoid pulling additional pigment from your skin. Picking the scab may also damage your skin and greatly affect the pigment's retention.

How many sessions will I need?
Every brand-new set of brows require two sessions to achieve the desired results. The first session is the initial appointment, and the second session is the first touch up.

When should I schedule my touch up?
Touch ups should be scheduled 6-12 weeks after the initial session once the brows are fully healed.

How long will my initial appointment take?
The appointment takes approximately three hours depending on your skin.
