What is Microshading?
Microshading is a cosmetic procedure where a technician applies a semi-permanent tattoo to your eyebrows using small dots of pigment. The technician will start by mapping the best shape for your brows depending on your facial structure. This process allows for the finished results to look smooth and natural as if the brow were powdered in.
Microshading is relatively painless and also less invasive than the counter option of microblading. Each new set requires 2 sessions for optimal results, which can last up to 3 years. It is recommended to touch up the brows every 12-18 months, however, to maintain pigment. Longevity of microshaded brows strongly depend on before and after care, although skin type and lifestyle are also a factor.
